Shepherd Songs is Joel's second full-length studio album and was recorded at Audio Art studios in Scranton, PA; Mixed and engineered by Kyle Lanphear. Sophia Howard, Joel's wife, sings background on three tracks (Intimacy, Whom have I, and Come, let us sing). Joel wrote and performed each song in October of 2011.

This album took 3 days to record as opposed to his first album, Here's to the Journey, which took an entire summer. Each song on Shepherd Songs comes from Joel's much earlier songwriting days (up to a decade before recording them here). Much of the album was intended to be a method for meditating on Scripture as many of the songs come directly from the bible.

Joel only made a limited amount of these physical CDs and they come in the traditional CD format (jewel cases). Listen to the tracks and get them while supplies last by writing us below!
