Slowing down

Slowing down, son

Slowing down your need to run

Keeping up

With Whom you love

Stay in line with God above

For all too quick

All at once

Do foolish ones 

Enter in

In to love

Into hurt

Into pain

Into dirt

Watch out for option A

Whose bliss will drag you out of place

When option B

And C and D

Haven't even said their words!

All at once young men, they rush

All at once, they foolishly push

Choosing death, instead of life

In comes hate, haste and strife

Guard my heart

Lord and my words

Let me slowly 

Slowly preserve

Preserve what's best

Being excellent at the right

Innocent of evil

Staying, be my fight!
