Towering mountain
Adapted from his Psalm of God series #7
“Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy...” Jude 24-24
[This climaxing doxology reminds us of the lofty mountain peaks that challenge us to ascend to heights.
Like Mt. Everest, that towers 29,029 feet, this one challenges us to climb to heights from which we see glimpses of the glory of God. Whenever we are so blessed to gather such a view, we are left without words to describe the scene.
This one seems to have two major peaks of truth. The first is His keeping power to keep us from falling. How dreadful, how tragic a loss we could escape. The second is that He will keep us for presenting us faultless before the presence of His glory, Oh Joy! We are thus kept from and kept unto. How magnificent! How promising! How glorious! What heights!]

Keep that towering mountain peak clearly in your view
It will show you an eternal destination
Keep that clarion call ringing clearly in your heart
It will quicken you in daily motivation
Keep that melodious song of doxology upon your lips
It will give you a song to sing in the darkest night
He is the God of all wisdom
He is the Savior of sufficiency
He is the Enabler when weakness strikes
From this mountain peak we are called, charmed and challenged
to trust Him to keep us from falling
Keep walking,
keep running,
keep climbing,
keep trusting,
and keep praising
Joy comes in the morning...Amen!
