Give silence a chance

Wait before you move 

Move away from doing 

Silent and be still 

Ponder Jesus' will 

Who before steps taking 

Or great undertakings 

Remembered how God's greatness

And amount of grace is 

Just what you and I need 

In the midst of our plea

Friend, stand still at last 

And give silence a chance!
