Light is not afraid of the dark

Love is not afraid of hate

Nor is light afraid of the dark

When suffering comes your way

Remember, my friend, who you are 

The light of the world, a city raised high 

So shine forth your lamp and love tonight! 

Cling to the One who offered it first 

And fear not the darkness upon this cold earth
