You take my fruit? 

What happens next? 

You take my precious fruit? 

I started feeling like I lost

A piece of who I am

This weekend I am feeling like

I need to readjust

To just return back to my roots

To remember who I was

Before giving out, before lending

Before sharing all

I was a tree before I bore

The fruit of grace and love

I must relax, I must exhale

I must breathe out, I must rest

I must find pleasure, I must find joy

I must go back to the start

I hear your voice affirming me

That when I've given out

I haven't lost my identity

I haven't lost my love

I hear the Savior call to me,

"Remember who you are

Remember you mean more to me

Than all you've ever done"

When I was in my mother's womb

He loved me just as much

He knew me, saw me, formed me, Wow!

And that's when I was dust!

It's gonna be a long, long road!

It's gonna be a marathon!

I cannot keep up a sprint!

I cannot keep the pace I'm on!

So I go back, I return

To who I was before time

So I return to your plans for me

To your heart and your mind
